Twas the Night Before Halloween
And all through the house, many a creature were stirring, a monster, an Elsa, a mouse.
Wait, that's not how that goes is it?
How about...
It's the mooost wondERful tiiiiime of the yeeeeeeear!
No?
Okay okay, I know that's not how those go, but during early October at the start of the Halloween season I seem to really get into the spirit of the holidays. I love the feeling of togetherness and how festive everyone gets. The smells! The glitter! The music! The food! The decorations! Gahlee, I just can't get enough and being pregnant has AMPLIFIED the joy I am feeling! :)
Well, Halloween was a HUGE success for us this year and Elmo, I mean, Reagan really enjoyed himself. He would not take his outfit off and everyday since then all the boy wants is,
"Emmo"
"More Emmo Mama"
"Mama, Emmo pease"
 |
Elmo watching "Emmo" about to leave for the festivities. |
Needless to say, the kid LOVES his Elmo and it's funny because up until about 2 weeks ago, he would not watch anything on television to save my sanity or life and now I can't peel him away without him thinking his life is ending. It's funny how those things happen.
Anyways, for Halloween our first stop on the trick-or-treat train was the League City Hometown Heroes Park for "Trunk-or-Treat". My mom, his Rara, came with us dressed as Pebbles and was TOTALLY ADORABLE!

Being at the park was a little difficult with a toddler who ONLY wanted to run in twenty different directions all at once, so we left pretty quickly to make our way to our church's festivities where he could run as far as he wanted and we felt safe with him doing it.
Here are pictures from the church.
Honestly, I wish I would have gotten more, but I swear my stomach was slightly contracting and it was freaking me out so I was trying to focus on breathing and taking it easy. Not to mention my feet were killing me!

I love what a great father he is. |

Everyone loved his costume! |

Daddy loves his baby. |
Finally, we went actual trick-or-treating, but for some reason my phone was taking HORRIBLE pictures and by this time my feet were hardcore swelling so I was only focusing on making it through the neighborhood for the sake of Reagan having Halloween memories.

Little Red very over walking...bedtime anyone? |
All in all it felt like a very happy, successful Halloween for us and hopefully when Reagan is older and looking back, he will love and cherish the little things we did with him as a family, even if he won't remember them, he will still have these pictures and words. We both love that boy more than words can describe and we just want the best possible life for him.
I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween and got some fun pictures to look back on! People think I'm just a crazy, picture obsessed mom, but I have so many pictures of my childhood that I love and appreciate so much. I can look back at them and easily see the love put in to my childhood and that is what I'm trying to do for little red.
Anyways, have a great night and TAKE PICTURES PEOPLE!!! YOUR BABY WILL LOVE IT LATER ON!
And just for the sake of reminiscing, here are pictures from Halloween 2013:

Poor Reagan was sick last year, but was a trooper through it all. |

Last year at a pumpkin patch.
(I used to get so dressed up! I miss that!) |

Seriously, does it get any cuter than this? Nope. |

We love each other! :) |
