28 Week Update

Total weight gain: I am at 136 so I am up 24 pounds and let me tell you, I am FEELING IT! I have become so incredibly uncomfortable in the past two weeks.
Maternity clothes:  You know it!!
Stretch marks: I'm still stretch mark free.
Sleep: Ugh, next topic...
Best moment this week: Since I have been waking up at 5 am every morning the past two weeks, (thanks James), I have been letting Reagan get up with me and let me tell you, early morning cuddles and snuggles are the best! (Especially when he's happy.) Oh oh oh!! James finally made a video of our proposal!! :))
Eaaaarly morning cuddles.

Miss Anything: I miss sleeping comfortably. My body hurts all the time and I CANNOT find a comfortable sleeping position.
Movement: Oh, she's moving CONSTANTLY!!!!
Food cravings: I can't think of anything that sticks out to me these past two weeks.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing food wise. I failed my 1 hour glucose test last week, actually took the 3 hour today, and it was AWFUL! I nearly fainted in front of the whole doctor's office and had to be laid down and fanned. It was so embarrassing! Luckily I didn't throw up at my doctor's, but a few hours after I got home it just hit me so hard and I puked. I hope I never have to do the 3 hour glucose test EVER again.
Have you started to show yet: Is the sky blue?

Name: Annabelle Emli (pronounced Em-lee) and her nickname is Belle.
Anna- James' sister's name is Anna and my grandma's middle name is Ann.
Belle- My great grandma's name is Claudia Belle.
Em- My cousin's name is Emily.
Li- My other cousin, Emily's younger sister is Lila.
Labor signs: Thankfully none after Halloween.
Symptoms: Numb/tingling hands and feet, feeling short of breath all the time, backaches, feeling really full lately after only a few bites, and having to pee every 20 minutes. lol

This could not be more accurate.

Belly Button in or out: Still in.
Wedding rings on or off: I'm still hanging in there with my 1 band.
Happy or moody most of the time: I am definitely more moody lately. My poor husband is just taking it like a champ and doing whatever he can to make me comfortable, which I appreciate. No matter what attitude I throw at him, he just loves me in return. He's like a super hero. lol
Looking forward to: I am looking forward to moving into our new house. We get keys in hand the 5th of December and move the 6th, which also is our 4d ultrasound! :)

26 Week Update

26 Weeks

Total weight gain: I am at 133 lbs so I am up 21 lbs. In the past week I have started incorporating a TON of fruit into my diet (basically all I eat now) which is SO unlike me! I am not a fruit lover by any means, but I have been craving it like crazy and I think that is having an impact on my size as I seem to be thinning out lately.
Maternity clothes:  I am back to wearing my normal xs/small shirts (not just workout clothes anymore, I'm fitting back into my pre-pregnancy clothes), but I also wear maternity clothes (mostly bottoms).
Stretch marks: Surprisingly no. I thought for sure I would by now, but there's still 14 weeks to go. My time is coming.
Sleep: In the past two weeks I have been having more trouble falling asleep than usual. I have no problem staying asleep once I get there, but it's the getting there that is killing me which is the total opposite from the problem I have been having for months. I have been having NO trouble getting to sleep, but it was the whole staying asleep that was hard. I can't wait to just be normal again.
Best moment this week: We put an offer in on a beautiful house in the PERFECT location and THEY'VE ACCEPTED!!! We're just waiting on inspections and if all goes well and nothing major is wrong with the house, we'll move into the final stages of purchasing and be in by December 6th! :) While that was an amazing thing that happened for us this past week, the week before another very special event was getting to see my belly bounce and move while she kicked me. I feel like it connected us a little bit more being able to see my stomach move from the outside. Like,
"Oh, hey little girl, you're getting bigger and are actually in there living."
(Hopefully) Homes Sweet Home!!
Cross your fingers!!!
Miss Anything: I miss my hands not hurting and being able to stand for more than 30 minutes (in the wrong shoes) without my feet tingling!! Yoooowzaa!
Movement: Something fun I have figured out in the past 2 weeks is when I lay on either my left or right side, she wiggles and she jiggles and kicks my belly out! It's such a strange sensation to experience. Cool and special, but strange :)
Food cravings: Honey Bunches of Oats, LA MADELINE CHICKEN SALAD, apples and peanut butter, grapes, bananas, almonds, oatmeal, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I could live in La Madeline and never get tired of it. It is by far my favorite restaurant around!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Have you started to show yet: Can I get a HECK YES!! Like I had previously mentioned though, I've started eating a lot more fruit and veggies in place of what I normally eat and I promise I see a big difference in the amount of cellulite my sides were harboring (around the back, under bra area). :) James keeps telling me how beautiful I am so that has helped my confidence level tremendously.
25w

26w
I started eating all that fruit around 25 weeks
and I can see a difference between the two weeks. Can you?

Name: Annabelle Emli (pronounced Em-lee)
Anna- James' sister's name is Anna and my grandma's middle name is Ann.
Belle- My great grandma's name is Claudia Belle.
Em- My cousin's name is Emily.
Li- My other cousin, Emily's sister, name is Lila.
Labor Signs: On Halloween and a couple days before I swear I was feeling contractions. My stomach was very hard and tight and it hurt a little bit, but since then I haven't felt it again.
Symptoms: Numb hands, tingling in my hands and feet, difficulty falling asleep, congestion, and feeling a ton more sluggish than normal.
Belly Button in or out: Still in.
Wedding rings on or off: I started out with 4 bands between all my rings and I am now down to 1 band on my ring finger.
Happy or moody most of the time: Considering all the stress that's been thrown at me lately, I'd say I am handling it pretty well with a positive attitude. I will say that I feel a lot more emotional and I am quicker to cry. It's funny though, I follow a bunch of "Due February 2015" birth boards and I'm not the only one who is feeling this way. A lot of women around the same week as me are feeling quite more emotional than in the previous weeks. Maybe it's just this stage of pregnancy? I don't know, that is just what I've observed on my birth boards.
Looking forward to: I am looking forward to the house inspections and hopefully moving forward with the contracts.

Halloween Twenty-Fourteen

Twas the Night Before Halloween

And all through the house, many a creature were stirring, a monster, an Elsa, a mouse.
Wait, that's not how that goes is it?
How about...
It's the mooost wondERful tiiiiime of the yeeeeeeear!
No?
Okay okay, I know that's not how those go, but during early October at the start of the Halloween season I seem to really get into the spirit of the holidays. I love the feeling of togetherness and how festive everyone gets.  The smells! The glitter! The music! The food! The decorations! Gahlee, I just can't get enough and being pregnant has AMPLIFIED the joy I am feeling! :)
Well, Halloween was a HUGE success for us this year and Elmo, I mean, Reagan really enjoyed himself. He would not take his outfit off and everyday since then all the boy wants is,
"Emmo"
"More Emmo Mama"
"Mama, Emmo pease"
Elmo watching "Emmo" about to leave for the festivities.
Needless to say, the kid LOVES his Elmo and it's funny because up until about 2 weeks ago, he would not watch anything on television to save my sanity or life and now I can't peel him away without him thinking his life is ending. It's funny how those things happen.
Anyways, for Halloween our first stop on the trick-or-treat train was the League City Hometown Heroes Park for "Trunk-or-Treat". My mom, his Rara, came with us dressed as Pebbles and was TOTALLY ADORABLE!
Reagan with his Rara
My Burt without his Burt shirt.
 (Amazon failed us this year)

The Ernie to his Elmo
(My favorite part was the propeller hat)
Elmo enjoying the Trunk-or Treat games
Burt and Ernie
(without the Burt shirt, thanks amazon)

James out of character and Reagan hating it there. (j/k)
Reagan in the bouncy house.
Being at the park was a little difficult with a toddler who ONLY wanted to run in twenty different directions all at once, so we left pretty quickly to make our way to our church's festivities where he could run as far as he wanted and we felt safe with him doing it.
Here are pictures from the church.
Honestly, I wish I would have gotten more, but I swear my stomach was slightly contracting and it was freaking me out so I was trying to focus on breathing and taking it easy. Not to mention my feet were killing me!
I love what a great father he is.

Elmo getting his candy on.

Everyone loved his costume!

Daddy loves his baby.
Finally, we went actual trick-or-treating, but for some reason my phone was taking HORRIBLE pictures and by this time my feet were hardcore swelling so I was only focusing on making it through the neighborhood for the sake of Reagan having Halloween memories.

Reagan big boy trick-or-treating.

Daddy chasing Reagan.

So cute.

Little Red very over walking...bedtime anyone?

All in all it felt like a very happy, successful Halloween for us and hopefully when Reagan is older and  looking back, he will love and cherish the little things we did with him as a family, even if he won't remember them, he will still have these pictures and words. We both love that boy more than words can describe and we just want the best possible life for him.
I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween and got some fun pictures to look back on! People think I'm just a crazy, picture obsessed mom, but I have so many pictures of my childhood that I love and appreciate so much. I can look back at them and easily see the love put in to my childhood and that is what I'm trying to do for little red.
Anyways, have a great night and TAKE PICTURES PEOPLE!!! YOUR BABY WILL LOVE IT LATER ON!

And just for the sake of reminiscing, here are pictures from Halloween 2013:

Poor Reagan was sick last year, but was a trooper through it all.
Last year at a pumpkin patch.
(I used to get so dressed up! I miss that!)

Seriously, does it get any cuter than this? Nope.
We love each other! :)

2013 were very different costume choices than this year.
