Lake Livingston (Texas) Mini-Moon

Guess what I did this past holiday weekend?

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I would like to proudly announce that I am no longer Megan Rumsey (although that's a ROCKIN name), but I am now Mrs. Megan Arnett! :)
I got married this past Friday on Good Friday to the man of my dreams, the peanut to my butter, the mint to my chocolate chip, the cookies to, to my.....oh...I could go on for HOURS so I'll just stop here.
Basically, I'm friggin happy and couldn't ask for a better life partner.
This all happened fairly quickly so we did not have a big elaborate wedding or a costly honeymoon which I am okay with because I'm cheap and like to do cheap things. (I hate to spend money unnecessarily if at all possible)
Because this was a small ceremony with only the people that were in town at our local church, we are having a bigger ceremony next April 18, 2015 and a real honeymoon.
I was very happy with the way things turned out and I said "I Do" in my Wuwu's dress. (my grandmother) It was a very special moment for her and I and surprisingly, I kept it together, but she cried.
All in all it was a FANTASTIC, special, moving, amazing, unbelievable day and I'll cherish it in my heart for as long as I live.

As for the mini-moon, I made my husband's dream of sail-camping come true by agreeing to, well, sail-camp for our honeymoon. MINI honeymoon, let's be really clear here. I may be a simple girl, but I do have some wedding dreams, let's be honest. ;)
He kept reminding me how grateful he was that he finally found a girl who is as adventurous as he is and loves being outside and doing outdoorsy things with him. He literally said
"I'm so in love with you. You are the best thing that ever happened to me and you one by one are making all of my dreams come true."
Sweet, right?? I found a keeper ladies and gents.
Here are some pictures from our adventurous weekend on Lake Livingston in Livingston, Tx.

We"re finally married
Stopped at Hobby Lobby just to get window paint.
Oh, and we changed in the parking lot! lol
(Some lady stared at us the ENTIRE time)
On our way to the boat ramp. The scenery out there was so pretty
Sailing to the island we were camping on

Pine Island is far and we have a ways to go...

But first, let me take a selfie. XD

We finally made it 2 1/2  hours later! I've got a nature valley in my hand because boy oh boy I was hungry. lol
Our little piece of island all to ourselves!
We were the only people camping on the whole island!
James being manly and fishing.

Life doesnt get much better than him.

Things like this really make me realize how blessed I truly am. I'm so thankful for the life I was given and I couldn't be more grateful.
We makes smores every camp out.

James LOVES THIS HAT! And staring off into the distance.

We always stop at the local eatery and have a burger at the end of our trip.
And last, but not least, here is my engagement ring with my wedding bands.
James actually added an extra band because he said,
"I want guys to see from far away that you're married and spoken for. I want them to look at that ring and go "Yeah, I can't do better than that, that dude is ballin."

Ahhh, gotta love man logic.
No, really,
with a ring like that, I like that logic. ;)

Well guys, that was my mini-moon adventure with my husband, the love of my life, and the father to my future babies. I hope you enjoyed and I hope you keep coming back to see my next camping shenanigans.

I would absolutely love to post about Olga and the progress from that, but I CAN'T!
I am still legally bound to keep my mouth shut and.it's.killing.me.
I love exposing frauds for what they are, but I am going to have to practice the patience I so prayed for all those years ago.
Adios mi amigos. See you next time.

Lake Texoma 2014

Happy Thursday Folks!
How was everyone's weekend? :) Mine was FABULOUS!! I got my tan on while canoeing, hiking and camping!! I LOVE LOVE LIVE for the outdoors and I'll use any excuse to even take a walk around the neighborhood.
"Oh, I'm checking the mail? Mine as we'll strap the baby in the stroller and take a 3 hour walk to the moon and back." ;)
Just kidding, I walk for around an hour and a half to two hours. Ever since I became a full time stay-at-home "mom", I lost my gym membership so I'm always looking for new ways, new FUN ways to be active that Reagan can also be included in.

So last time I was here I said I was going to tell you an ELECTRIC story and I will, but I have to pump the breaks on this juicy gossip because while I'm oozing at the seams to tell you (James has my back on this, he wants the story out there because Olga has made up a dream reality and spewing a bunch of interesting to say the least stories about why she lost custody) I CANT. I'm legally bound while the case is being settled to keep my trap shut and OH.MY.WORD, it's turning out to be more difficult than I expected so I'm just going to show you what I did this weekend. Hopefully the case will be close to settled by the 2nd, but we will see.

Here's my awesome weekend with the love of my life. :)

After every camping trip we eat at a hole in the wall and let me tell you, this was NO disappointment

I would like to happily announce that tomorrow 4/12/14 I am getting baptized and next Friday is mine and my beautiful fiance's wedding day! I don't have 24 hour access to a computer, but I am going to take lots of pictures and upload them when I am able.
Thank you so much for reading and I will happily write more guys!
Y'all have an amazing night and weekend.
Thank you thank you thank you...
Muuah and goodnight.
